SBC has revealed the finalists for the 2026 edition of the SBC Awards Europe, set to happen at Xara Lodge, Malta, on Thursday, 30 April.


Closing the last day of SBC Summit Malta 2026, the event will unite 400 industry professionals to celebrate excellence throughout the European wagering and video gaming market.


This year's edition features 35 categories, identifying standout accomplishments from operators, affiliates, market leaders, game developers and other providers. Leading the shortlist is Betsson Group with 7 nominations, followed carefully by Sportradar with 6.


"Success in this industry has to do with more than earnings. It is defined by durability, imagination, and a willingness to take dangers," stated SBC Founder and CEO Rasmus Sojmark. Recognising the industry's commitment to gamer defense, contenders for 'Socially Responsible Initiative of the Year' consist of 8888, EPIC Global Solutions, Play 'n GO, and Stars Partners.


In the 'SlotCatalog' classifications, Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw Gaming will be seeking to protect their titles of 'Game Studio of the Year - Large' and 'Game Studio of the Year- Medium'. They deal with competition from the similarity Catena Media, BETANDEAL, Gentoo Media, Better Collective, Clever Advertising, and MediaTroopers.


Across the provider categories, BetConstruct and Sportradar blaze a trail with 4 elections each, followed by Delasport and Kanggiten with 3 nominations apiece.


It could be a memorable night for Trustly, having secured elections for both 'Compliance & KYC Partner of the Year' and 'Payment Solution of the Year'. They will deal with competitors from the likes of BridgerPay, Paysecure, Paytently, BetComply, and GBG.


Additionally, the evening will highlight emerging skill through four dedicated Rising Star awards, recognising standout operators and providers making an impact in casino and sports betting.
