Answer: Hi
I can treat moles with short wave diathermy as long as they have been checked by a dr first. The mole is treated and shrinks to skin level and the pigment in the mole fades. One or two treatments are sufficient. Each is £85. There should be no scarring

Dr Fatima Ahmed

Answer: Thank you for your email enquiry.
We are an advanced skin care clinic where we specialise in lesion and mole . Our Doctor Fatima Ahmed who specialises in dermatology would see you for a first, during which she will assess the mole, offer a test patch with the laser used and give you advice . It may be necessary to offer a biopsy if there is any concern regarding a mole before removal, always ensuring your safety is our priority. This is a we offer in the clinic. The sample is then sent to the Spire for a full histopathology report.
Mole Removal is becoming a procedure because the NHS has reduced the amount of procedures they will carry out. Laser removal is a safe and effective procedure that is quick with and with minimal, if any, scarring. A local anaesthetic will be administered prior to removal, making your appointment . We can then remove your mole quickly and with our Er. Yag Laser. A small white mark is all that is usually left but a small scar may result. Generally, the area is left unmarked and clear within about two weeks.
The costs are as follows:
Consultation: £175.00 (£50 deposit payable upon booking)
Consultation under 18 £120.00 (£50 upon booking)
Biopsy (if needed): from £250
Removal: from £350
Please note that a quote will be given to you at consultation.
Dr Fatima’s working hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday’s 9am – 4:30pm
If you have any further questions or would like to book in your consultation, please feel free to me and I will be more than happy to help.
I look to hearing from you.
Kind regards
