Powell Wary Of Improving Warrington - Watch On BBC

Daryl Powell states Wakefield Trinity have their work cut out to duplicate last season's Super League double over Warrington as the two face each other for the first time this project on Saturday.
The 60-year-old, who coached Warrington in between 2022-23, led his Trinity side to 30-16 away and 40-10 home wins against Wolves last season.
But Powell thinks Sam Burgess's side have made strides given that those results and anticipates a severe test when the two meet in front of the BBC cameras at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
"Everybody asks me this around Warrington," Powell informed BBC Radio Leeds. "I just concentrate on us and don't stress over what happened in 2015.

He added:" [Full-back] Cai Taylor-Wray existed when I existed however he has come through and made a pretty distinct impression in round one.
"He is a hazard, however I just believe they appear like they have enhanced considerably from in 2015.
"They have actually signed a number of pack players in Liam Byrne and Toafofoa Sipley who look like they have actually made a difference in the middle of the field."
Warrington had a bye week last week as their scheduled challengers Hull KR took on Brisbane Broncos in the World Club Challenge however went out 24-14 winners over St Helens in week one.
